Indapamid MCC 1,5mg

Composition:

1,5 mg indapamide

Pharmacological properties:

Slow release tablets, contain indapamide, a sulfonamide with reduced diuretic activity.

Indications:

INDAPAMID MCC 1,5mg is indicated in treatment of essential arterial hypertension.

Contraindications:

•     hypersensitivity to indapamide, other sulfonamides or any of the product’s excipients.
•     severe renal insufficiency
•     hepatic encephalopathy or severe hepatic insufficiency
•     hipokalemia

Side effects:

•     Most of the adverse reactions are dose dependent. Thyazidic and related diuretics, including indapamide, can determine:
•     Hepatic encephalopathy, in case of pre-existent hepatic insufficiency
•     Hypersensitivity reactions, especially skin reactions, in patients with atopic history
•     Macular and papular erruptions, purpura, the aggravation of pre-existentlupus erytematosus
•     Rarely were spotted reactions of nausea, constipation, dry mouth, vertigo, fatigue, paresthesia and migraine. Generally, these symptoms disappear when the dose is reduced
